ನರಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಯೇ ಬೊಮ್ಮನಾಶಯವೇ? ನಮ್ಮ ಬಾಳ್ |
ಬರೀ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಯೇ? ಅದರ ಪೂರಣವದೆಲ್ಲಿ ? ||
ಸುರಿದು ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆಗಳನುತ್ತರವ ಕುಡೆ ಬಾರದನ |
ಗುರುವೆಂದು ಕರೆಯುವೆಯ ? - ಮಂಕುತಿಮ್ಮ ||

ಮಂಕುತಿಮ್ಮನ ಕಗ್ಗ ಪದ್ಯ- 33 ರ ಅರ್ಥ

ನಾವು ಮಾನವರು. ನಮಗೆ ಹಲವು ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆಗಳು ಜೀವನದಲ್ಲಿ. ನಮ್ಮ ಸೃಷ್ಟಿಕರ್ತ ಬ್ರಹ್ಮ. ಈ ಪರೀಕ್ಷೆ ಮಾಡುವದೇ ಅವನ ಆಶಯವೇ ? ಇಲ್ಲವೇ? ಹಾಗಾದರೆ ಯಾಕೆ ಈ ಜೀವನದ ಸವಾಲುಗಳು?

ನಮ್ಮ ಬಾಳೆಲ್ಲ ಬರೀ ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳೇ? ಅದರಲ್ಲೇ ಮುಳುಗಿದ್ದೇವೆ. ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗಳಿಗೆ ಅಂತ್ಯ ಇದೆಯಾ ? ಎಲ್ಲಿದೆ? ಯಾವಾಗ ಅಂತ್ಯ? ಸುಖ ಎಂದು?

ಸಮಸ್ಯೆಗೆ ಪರಿಹಾರ ನೀಡುವವ ಗುರು. ಈ ಎಲ್ಲ ಪ್ರಶ್ನೆ ಅವನಿಗೆ. ಆದರೆ ಅವನಲ್ಲಿಲ್ಲ ಉತ್ತರ.
ಅವನಾಗಬಹುದೇ ಗುರು ? ಗುರು ಎನಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳುತ್ತಾನೆಯೇ?

ಅಂದರೆ ನಮಗೆ "ಗುರು" ಎಂಬುವರಿಲ್ಲ.

Mankutimmana Kagga Verse -33 Meaning In English

We are humans. We have many tests in life. Our creator is Brahma. Is it his wish to do this test? No ? So why the challenges of this life?

Are all our lives just problems? We are immersed in it. Is there an end to the problems? Where is the end? When is the end? When will we have happiness?

Guru is the one who solves the problems. We put all these questions to him. But he doesn't have the answer.

Can he be the Guru? Can we call him as Guru?

So we do not have a “Guru” to answer these questions.
