ಮಂಕುತಿಮ್ಮನ ಕಗ್ಗ ಪದ್ಯ- 17

ತಳಮಳವಿದೇನಿಳೆಗೆ ದೇವದನುಜರ್ ಮಥಿಸಿ |
ಜಲನಿಧಿಯೊಳಾದಂತೆ ಸುಧೆಗೆ ಪೀಠಿಕೆಯೇಮ್ ||
ಹಾಲಾಹಲವ ಕುಡಿವ ಗಿರೀಶನಿದ್ದಿರಿದೊ ಡೀ |
ಕಳವಳವದೇತಕೆಲೋ - ಮಂಕುತಿಮ್ಮ ||

ಮಂಕುತಿಮ್ಮನ ಕಗ್ಗ ಪದ್ಯ- 17 ರಅರ್ಥ

ಸಮುದ್ರ ಮಥನ ಸಮಯ. ದೇವತೆಗಳೂ, ರಾಕ್ಷಸರೂ ಹಾಲಿನ ಸಮುದ್ರವನ್ನು ಕಡೆದಾಗ ಅಮೃತ ದೊರಕಿತು.
ಈಗ ಜಗತ್ತಿನ ತಳಮಳ ಆ ಅಮೃತ ದೊರೆಯುವದಕ್ಕೆ ನಾಂದಿಯೋ ?

ಆ ಸಮುದ್ರ ಮಥನದಲ್ಲಿ ಅಮೃತ ಬರುವದಕಿಂತ ಮೊದಲು ಹಾಲ ಹಲ ವಿಷ ಬಂತು. ಎಲ್ಲರೂ ಗಾಬರಿ ಆದಾಗ ಈಶ್ವರನು ಅದನ್ನು ಕುಡಿದು ಕಳವಳವನ್ನು ಹೋಗಲಾಡಿಸದನು.

ಅದೇ ಈಶ್ವರನು ಇವತ್ತಿಗೂ ಇರುವಾಗ ಈ ಕಳವಳ ಏಕೆ? ಅದು ಬೇಕಿಲ್ಲ.

Mankutimmana Kagga Verse -17 Meaning In English

During Samudra mathana (Sea churning) Amrita was found when Gods and demons churned the sea of milk.

Is today’s agitation an indication of getting Amrita in near future ?(better days ahead)

Before gods and demons got Amrita, poison came out during churning. Everyone got scared.

But Ishwara drank that poison and saved everyone.

Why is this concern when the same Ishwar is still there? It is not necessary.
