In the fast life, there will not be any time for cooking. Thankfully, there are some foods which can be cooked instantly. Rava Dosa is one such dish.

Lets see to prepare it.

What are required:

Fine Semolia (ಚಿರೋಟಿ ರವೆ): 2 cup

Maida (ಮೈದಾ ಹಿಟ್ಟು) : 1 cup

Rice flour (ಅಕ್ಕಿ ಹಿಟ್ಟು ) : 1 cup

Green chillies (ಹಸಿ ಮೆಣಸಿನಕಾಯಿ ) : 1 tsp (finely chopped)

Ginger  (ಶುಂಠಿ)  : 1 tsp (crushed)

Curry leaves (ಕರಿಬೇವು) : 2 tsp (chopped)

Cumin seeds (ಜೀರಿಗೆ ): 1 tsp

Pepper (ಕರಿ ಮೆಣಸು) : 1 tsp, crushed (optional)

Roasted Groundnuts (ಹುರಿದ ಕಡಲೆ ಬೀಜ/ಶೇಂಗಾ) : 1 tsp (optional)

Salt (ಉಪ್ಪು ) :1 tsp

Oil (ಎಣ್ಣೆ ) : 1 cup for cooking

How to do it:

1.Take a broad vessel or bowl and add in all the above mentioned items

2. Pour in water and bring in to light milk shake consistency. There should not be any lumps

3. Keep aside for 20-30 minutes by covering with a plate

4. Heat a dosa tawa and grease it with oil

5. Pour around two ladles of batter on the tawa. Don't spread the batter with the ladle

6. Smear some oil around with spoon

7. Cook on both sides to golden brown

8. Its ready to serve with coconut chutney
