Maaya tells Anuj that they should move to the Kapadia house to create their own memories and forget about Anupama.
Anuj firmly refuses.
Maaya steps aside when she sees Hasmukh approaching Anuj.
Hasmukh asks Anuj if he is OK and Anuj nods yes.
Hasmukh says they need to talk and asks Anuj to start.
Barkha asks Maaya what Hasmukh is doing with Anuj and hopes Anuj won't reveal the secret to Hasmukh.
Hasmukh asks Anuj if he won't talk to his father and suggests that he can share anything he doesn't want to tell Anupama.
Anuj replies that Hasmukh knows the truth.
Hasmukh states that if it were true, Anuj would have looked into his eyes and spoken.
Anuj says he has nothing to say.
Hasmukh insists on questioning Anuj and asks about his relationship with Maaya, the significance of Maaya performing rituals with him, making decisions on his behalf, and talking about erasing Anupama's memories.
He asserts his right to ask these questions.
Anuj responds by saying that some questions are better left unanswered.
Hasmukh tries to leave, but Anuj holds his hand and pleads with him to forgive his son for everything if possible.
Hasmukh walks away and Anupama overhears their conversation, noticing Anuj's anxiety.
Meenu, Little Anu and Bhairavi discuss that the elders haven't planned any theme for the party.
So they decide to have the same hairstyle and wear similar jewelry for the functions.
