Jersey movie which was supposed to release on Dec 31 with Shahid Kapoor and Mrunal Thakur in the lead is now postponed. Taking to social media platforms the producers Sithara Entertainments and GA2 Pictures announced the same pointing toward the existing conditions across the country. They seem to be pointing towards the Night Curfew implementations in the southern states and the shutdown of theaters in Delhi.

This would definitely hit the collections for the movie as the movie is a remake of the telugu movie with the same name and the targeted market was mostly northern states.  The announcement of the new release date is still to be done.
